Dental Hygienist
Lise's love for teeth comes from her father who was a Professor in Dentistry in South Africa. She is extremely passionate about teeth and is dedicated to help care for your teeth and maintain healthy gums. Her two daughters have had orthodontic treatment, fissure sealants and extractions of impacted wisdom teeth. She believes that children will benefit from a visit to the dental hygienist to help prevent dental decay and gum infections.
Her many years of experience enables her to identify issues related to teeth and gums and educate you about oral health. Apart from cleaning off the calculus growth on teeth, she assists in taking dental x-ray photos to determine if implants are necessary and advice on teeth whitening.
Some years ago Lise invented two specialist oral care products which are available in several countries including Australia. Additionally, Lise has presented papers at international dental conferences on the maintenance of dental implants and how to keep periodontitis under control.
Away from work, she love mountain climbing and making mosaic art pieces. Lise and her husband live here on beautiful Bribie Island where you may find them glued to their binoculars while bird spotting.
